# Flare Minting and Auction Process

**Overview:**

* Minting: Flare tokens are minted each week over a 24-hour period.
* Auction Start: Auctions begin on Day 2 of the first week and run daily, except on weekly mint days. Post-distribution, auctions continue every day.

**Minting Schedule:**

* Weekly Mint: Every Friday at 2pm UTC, ending Saturday at 2pm UTC.
* Claim Window: Each week, claims begin at 2pm UTC on Saturday after the 24-hour mint closes.

**Auction Days:** Daily auctions start on Day 2, continuing through the week except for minting days.
